The closest district to Moab, many say that "The Island in the Sky" contains the best views of Canyonlands National Park. Though much of this tour is easily done on your own if you have a car, many people just want to sit back and let us do the driving while they soak in the local knowledge that comes with a guided trip (and perhaps to see that certain spot you might not find on your own.)

From high atop massive cliffs and mesas, you'll glimpse the awesome size and beauty of the region as you look down upon the "Needles" and "Maze" districts in the distance and the deep canyon of the Colorado River below. Popular among photographers, sightseers and hikers alike.

Trip Details: This tour is more about grand views and photo opportunities than strenuous hiking.

It features a scenic drive passing numerous pull-outs with grand vistas and includes a few short, easy hikes (you may choose to hike alone or with your guide on many of the easier trails, it's your choice!). Trails may include destinations like Mesa Arch, Grand Overlook, Upheaval Dome, Whale Rock and more.
